What does the free .co.za mean, and when does it stop?
We register a new .co.za in your name, or take over the renewals of a .co.za you transfer to us, and pay its registration and every yearly renewal for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, the domain stays yours: we remind you before its next renewal date and move it to the registrar you choose, and from then on you pay that registrar. Other endings, such as .com, are renewed yearly at a price we confirm with you first.
What counts as a change?
One update to your website, such as new hours, a new service, new photos or changed prices. You ask for it in your dashboard, we confirm a date and email you when it is live. Your plan includes one change each monthly billing cycle; unused changes do not carry over, and an extra change in the same cycle costs R350.
What do I get on the Local Business + 5 Email Accounts plan?
Everything in Local Business, plus 5 email accounts at your own domain, such as info@yourbusiness.co.za. We create the accounts and set up the records that help your mail reach inboxes. You open webmail from your dashboard and can add the accounts to your phone and computer with the settings shown there. You can move up to this plan later.
Is there a contract? How do I cancel?
There is no fixed contract. Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard, or contact us. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken. If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, we refund it in full.
What happens to my website and email if I cancel?
Your website stays live until the end of your last paid month, then goes offline; ask within 30 days and we send you your text and photos. Your domain stays yours. Email accounts included in your plan stay active until the end of your last paid month, and we help you move them to another provider before they close.
How do I pay?
Monthly in advance by card, through Stitch, our payment provider. You add your card on Stitch's secure page, your first payment starts your subscription, and it renews on the same day each month (the 28th if you start on the 29th, 30th or 31st). If a payment fails and you add your card again, your monthly payment moves to the day you add it (the 28th at most). Once-off extras can be paid by card or another method Stitch offers. We can also arrange EFT on request, and then email you an invoice with our banking details. Stitch processes your card details and we do not store them, and every payment through Stitch gets an invoice in your dashboard. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.
