Terms and conditions
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms apply when you subscribe to Galooly Local Sites ("we", "us"). By paying for a plan or an add-on you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy, refund policy, cancellation policy and delivery policy.
1. What we provide
We design, build, host and maintain a website for your business, and set up the online services that help it bring in work. Every plan includes:
- Local business website
- Free .co.za domain for as long as you are a client
- Hosting on Cloudflare with HTTPS
- Connected Google Business Profile
- Google Analytics setup
- Google Search Console setup
- Local business SEO
- Enquiries and taps counted in your dashboard
- 1 website change every month
If you want Google Analytics on your website, we set it up. Your website then asks each visitor first, and Google Analytics loads only for visitors who accept it. Without it, your website sets no tracking cookies.
The Local Business + 5 Email Accounts plan adds 5 email accounts on your own domain. You manage your account, enquiries, change requests and billing in the client portal (your dashboard) at app.galooly.co.za.
2. Prices
| Plan or add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| Local Business | R299 per month |
| Local Business + 5 Email Accounts | R399 per month |
| Extra change this cycle | R350 once-off |
All prices are in South African rand. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect on your subscription.
3. Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by card through Stitch, our payment provider. You add your card on Stitch's secure page, your first payment starts your subscription, and it renews on the same day each month until you cancel (on the 28th if you start on the 29th, 30th or 31st). If a payment fails and you add your card again, you pay for that month on the day you add it, and from then on your monthly payment falls on that day (the 28th at most). Once-off extras can be paid by card or another method Stitch offers on its payment page. We can arrange EFT on request, and then email you an invoice with our banking details. Stitch processes your card details and we do not store them. You receive an invoice in the portal for every payment made through Stitch.
If a card payment fails, we let you know, and Stitch tries it again once a day for three days. If it still has not gone through, your card subscription stops, and you add your card again under Billing to pay the month and carry on, and your monthly payment day moves to the day you add it. Your website stays live throughout, but website changes are paused once the retries have run out, until the account is up to date.
4. Website changes
Each plan includes one website change per monthly billing cycle, such as new hours, a new service or new photos. Unused changes do not carry over. Extra changes in the same cycle cost R350 each. You request changes in the portal, and we confirm a date and let you know when each change is live. We may decline a change that would be unlawful, misleading or harmful to the website, and we tell you why.
5. Your information and content
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us, and you confirm that you have the right to use any logos, photos and text you supply. We publish facts about your business only when you or your public records confirm them, and we never invent reviews, registrations or claims.
6. Ownership
Your business name, logo, photos, text and domain name remain yours, and your domain is registered in your name.
If we register a new .co.za domain for you, or you move an existing .co.za to us, its registration and yearly renewals are included in your subscription at no extra cost for as long as your subscription is active. Other domain endings are renewed yearly at a price we confirm with you before registering or moving them. If you keep your domain registered with your current provider, it stays registered there: you point its nameservers to us, and we copy its existing settings across first so your email and other services keep working.
The website design system, templates and software we use to build and run your site remain ours, and you may use them for as long as your subscription is active.
7. Availability
Websites are hosted on Cloudflare's global network. We aim to keep your website available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and occasional maintenance or outages at our suppliers may affect it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that cannot be excluded.
9. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time, without a fixed contract term. How cancellation works and when refunds apply are set out in our cancellation policy and refund policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects your subscription, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
