Signing up
Sign up: choose your plan and pay
Step 5 of signing up: choose a plan, check your details and pay the first month by card.
This is the last sign-up step: choose your plan, check your details, accept the terms and pay the first month by card. Once your payment is confirmed, we start building your website.
Choose a plan
- Choose one of the two plans. Both are billed monthly, with no fixed contract.
- Local Business, R299 a month: your website, a free .co.za domain for as long as you are a client, hosting, a connected Google Business Profile, Google Analytics and Search Console setup, local SEO, enquiries and taps counted in your dashboard, and 1 website change every month.
- Local Business + 5 Email Accounts, R399 a month: everything in Local Business, plus 5 email accounts on your own domain.
If you chose a plan on the pricing page before you started, it is already picked.
Check the summary
- Under the plans, check the summary: Business, Template with your four colours, Web address and Images.
- To change something, tap Back, or tap the step’s name at the top. Your other answers stay as they are.
Accept the terms
- Tick the box: “I agree to the terms and conditions and have read the cancellation and refund policies.” The links in it open in a new tab. You can also read the terms and conditions, the cancellation policy and the refund policy here.
- Tap Continue to payment.

Pay on Stitch’s secure page
When you tap Continue to payment, we create your account and sign you in to your portal on this device. You go straight on to pay: we email you once your payment comes through.
- You go to Stitch’s secure payment page. Stitch is our payment provider.
- Add your card and pay the first month. We never see or store your card number.
- Stitch brings you back to your portal, on My site.
What happens after you pay
- My site says: “Welcome aboard. Your payment is confirmed, so we start building now; your preview link follows within a few days.”
- We email you a welcome with what happens next. It comes once, with your first payment.

- We email you a receipt, Payment received, with your invoice number. The invoice PDF is under Billing in your portal. See Your plan and invoices.

- We send your preview link within a few days, and nothing goes live until you approve it. See From sign-up to a live website.
- Your card is then charged every month on the same day of the month as your first payment. If that was the 29th, 30th or 31st, it is the 28th.
Good to know
- If My site says “We have your details and start building once your payment is confirmed”, the payment is still being confirmed. That usually takes a minute, and it then shows under Billing.
- Left the payment page without paying? Nothing was charged. You can pay later from Billing in your portal.
- Sign-up takes card payments. If you would rather pay by EFT, open Billing in your portal before you pay by card and tap Pay by EFT. We email you an invoice with our banking details, and your welcome email once we have recorded your payment.
- You stay signed in on that device for 90 days. After that, sign in with a link we email you: see Sign in to your portal.
- Want to pay on another phone or computer? Tap Email me a link to continue at the bottom of this step, and open the link we email you there. See Sign up: tell us about your business.
If something goes wrong
- “Please accept the terms and conditions to continue.” Tick the box above Continue to payment.
- “There is already an account for this email address. Please sign in instead.” Sign in with that address, or go back to step 1 and use your business’s own email address.
- The summary shows a problem under Web address. Tap Change it and fix it on the web address step. See Sign up: choose your web address.
- “We could not open the payment page just now. Please try again in a minute, or contact us.” Your account is already made, so tap Back to billing and try again from there in a minute.
